Trapezium Rule
This is a way of solving DIFFICULT Intregrals.
A Revision Aid

Sometimes it looks hard but can be very easy.
To find the Approximate Area under a curve
Remember - the Trapezium Rule is in the Formula Book
The Formulas
ʃab y dx

h=(b-a)/n - where n is the number of strips and h is the width of each trapezium

The Trapezium Rule is : ʃab ydx ≈ h/2 [y0 + 2(y1 + y2 .....+ yn-1) + yn]

Strips
Always draw a list of the strips
There will always be ONE less STRIP than the number of INTEGRALS or ORDINATES
